I know these are supposed to be great, but I just don't hear it. To me, they sound shallow and tinny. I've got IEMs for half the price that sound much better. Try the 7Hz Zero instead.
Excellent sound stage and presentation. A little large but still comfortable with the right tips. A relaxed but still very detailed sound with strong/neutral bass/mids and slightly rolled highs. Huge soundscape with excellent instrument placement.
This device does not have a battery so it gets all of it's power from the usb-c port. The headphone amp is truly balanced and outputs a lot more power out of the 4.4 mm port. I tested this with my HD560s and LetShuoer S12's by changing out the cables from 3.5mm to balanced 4.4mm. There is plenty of power to run the HD560s especially with the balanced output. The HD560s are only 120 ohm so I don't know how this would work with 300-600 ohm cans but I have a feeling that the balanced output would still be enough to drive most any high impedance cans. The dual DAC setup sounds very good, especially at this price point and the 3.5mm output can be used to send analog sound to a integrated amp or receiver and it really does make a big improvement in the quality and clarity of the sound versus the built-in DAC on my Cambridge Audio AXR100 receiver/integrated amp. Overall this is a really great deal for under $100 and can transform the sound output of your smartphone or PC/Mac.
This is my first iem, excellent performance, sound quality. Will go for more.
They look great, good and comfortable fit. I use them with a bluetooth cable and they sound great
Rich and fantastic. My IEM to go
I am a lover of full bass and well implemented single DD sets. I did not expect much from these - perhaps "good tonality for the price, but poor technicalities" like we expect from these budget sets that have been well tuned.
The Chu doesn't turn my head for example.
Put some wide bore tips on these (Whizzer SS20, BGVP W01, Tenmak Whirlwinds) and get ready for VERY well controlled and textured bass in large amounts - but also expect all kinds of detail without ANY harshness. Mids are solid for vocals too. Timbre is excellent. There is a very slight graininess which is the only con I can think of. Stage and imaging are well above $20.
This might be the best "V" shaped tuning I've heard.
I'm personally not a fan of the appearance, but I'd say these are well worth $100 yet alone their asking price.
Warm V-shape with plenty of details and good technicalities? It's right here. For far less than it should cost.
First time checking planar magnetic, and the clarity is really good
If you like a neutral-ish sound, this may be good. But if you have small ears, skip this. The smallest ear tips may be too big too.
Great tuning and technicalities. Swappable 2pin cable? Nice! Can swap it out to a balanced cable.
