Great Sound, Current Favorite.

There is a good amount of reviews covering the LZ A5, everything from QC to sound has been addressed by people who are much more qualified than I am.

My impressions are as such:
Build: Great, all metal build so not much concern there.

Fit: Everyone has different ears and I personally notice some fatigue after long periods of wearing these, pretty good.

Packaging: One of the better packing jobs, presentation is above the current par of ChiFi, but it isn't going to blow you out of the water.

Cable: Not the greatest, the Mold-able curves tend to need adjustment all the time. This is super minor.

Sound Quality: Great treble adjustment with the included filters, all my listening has been done with both an XDO5+ and standard Apple USB-C dongle. I'd say tuning wise this is more relaxed than some more critical and harsh iem's.

Overall: For the price of $279 dollars as listed on the website maybe not. For the discounted price that shows up here periodically, definitely an iem to own as a casual pair. Since pricing is subject to change, I am not having that impact the overall rating given.

General Side Note: Linsoul's new shipping is really a godsend

Great sound, snug fit!

With the black filters (slight reduction to the treble):
Very engaging sound with noticeable sound stage, sounds v-shaped with pronounced bass and still clear vocals. Resolving without sibilance. These make a nice contrast to the Tin T4's sound.

These iems comes with 4 filters which adjusts the treble bump, 2 to increase treble and 2 to reduce treble, the black filters are pre-installed.

Solid all metal build, compact smooth shell with long nozzles that fits perfectly (for my medium-sized ears) - excellent passive isolation, stays in, no wobble and stable enough to even hold the cables correctly over the ears. Possibly the best fitting universal iem i have experienced. Comes with lots of tips, foam not mandatory due to the awesome fit of the shells. The cable is low keyed black fabric braided shoelace style.

(Fast delivery from Linsoul!! Cheers!)
