Outstanding Audio Performance

Topping MX5 brings excellent performance with USB, optical fiber, coaxial, and Bluetooth input, featuring built-in ESS SABRE HIFI DAC with XMOS XU208 & Qual-comm QcC3031. It allows the MX5 to easily access various audio sources, including computers, set-top boxes, CD players, mobile phones, tablets, etc.

More Optimized NFCA Circuit Operation

The MX5 is marked by the NFCA circuit optimized for this unit, giving ultra-low noise and distortion. lt also pairs with high sensitivity IEMs and power-hungry high impedance headphones nicely. Therefore, the built-in headphone amp allows us to enjoy music exclusively without disturbing others.

Large and Stable Input Application Range

Topping MX5 expand the scope of application. In addition to supporting various digital inputs, MX5 supports not only fully balanced TRS and single-ended RCA analog inputs, but Auto On/Off function. When a valid signal is detected, it will be turned on immediately. Even when the signal is lost, it will automatically shut down or turn to standby mode within a specific time. Besides, for analog signals of different strengths, MX5 provides three options of sensitivity to ensure that the signal can be accurately detected.

Marvelous Built-in EQ function

The MX5 characterizes built-in EQ function so that we can adjust treble and bass, which provide adjustable ranges from -10dB to +10dB respectively. One of the most salient features of Topping MX5 is user-friendly custom setting memories, called C1 and C2. The current input or output selection, volume setting, bass sets, treble sets, and gain setting all can be memorized by long press. And short press to call out in subsequent applications. It is worth mentioning that MX5's screen can automatically close and only display the current input without any operation for 30 seconds. MX5 also can be set to display the volume in percentage or dB.

Merus Class D Amplifier

With the help of Infineon Merus Class D amplifier, MX5 can output 70W x2 under 4-ohm load with 10% distortion, and 55W x2 under 4-ohm load with 1% distortion. Under an 8-ohm load, 10% distortion can output 42W x 2, and 1% distortion can output 35W x2, which can meet daily use. To adapt to input signals with different strengths, MX5 designs two steps gain settings for both power amplifier and headphone amplifier. These gains can be set on the remote control.
