For the price they are a steal. I doubt you will find a more enjoyable sound at this level anywhere else. Comfort is medium, and build is okay. As a replacement for my Koss porta pro wireless 2.0 they have a much more enjoyable sound, but comes in short for comfort and design.
Tldr version:
Sound: very enjoyable and fun. Not "neutral" ofc, as they are tuned towards the Harman target, but the Harman target exist because a lot of people enjoy it. And it's a very fun and engaging listening experience. The biggest plus for me is how wide they sound. Instruments are very clearly spaced, and the stereo effect is amazing. But it also manages to stay balanced enough to where the details needed to be pleasurable are contained. Vocals are especially enjoyable in my opinion. Now this is the positives about their open design, and semi open back. The negative for some is bass. I would argue the bass is good though, and not overpowering. Although it naturally lacks sub bass.
Comfort: a mixed bag. They are very light, and have a very moderate clamping force. This makes them very easy to "forget" on your head. The more negative side, is ear comfort. Since they are pretty small and the padding is very limited, they are not the most comfortable on your ear. I wish they would have had a bit wider of a speaker housing, to make the pressure more spread out. They also have this small edge on the housing making the issue even worse, as all the pressure is restricted to this area.
Build: Not amazing, but fair for the price. They are as stated light and very enjoyable to wear around the neck for example. But they are sadly not foldable. And the thin plastic build, and lack of case makes them overall not great for portability. I also question the longevity of the adjustment mechanism, that is just a small rubber bit that acts as friction against the headband. I fear those will fail in the future. They have been fine for the time I've had them though.
Design: naturally a objective matter, but I think a lot of people will enjoy the retro ish style. They look a bit weird on hear in my opinion, due to how deep the speaker housing is. So they stick out quite a bit. Note that they come with two pairs of ear pads, in different colors if you feel like changing it up a little bit.
Controls: Nearly perfect in my opinion. One multifunctional button, to turn on and off and play pause etc. And the ends of the speaker housing is a wheel that can be turned. On the right is volume, and left is next or previous song. Tactile and very intuitive for every user. Again, one of the absolute best controls on headphones I've owned. The only thing I find slightly questionable and annoying is that I feel the left wheel functions backwards. You twits it back to go to next song, and forward to go to previous song. Makes absolutely no sense to me, but its easy to remember and adapt.
Conclusion: these are the most enjoyable headphones I've tried at this price point. And the sound is even more enjoyable than other much more expensive headphones I own. Use cases are obviously different, and headphones are ment to fill different roles. For casual home listening, or a more aware walk than closed back headphones these are perfect in my opinion. I catch myself reaching for them very often, just to listen to some music while doing any activity. They have some issues with design and comfort in my opinion. A big focus on low weight, and small footprint makes the lack of foldability a bit weird and impractical. The lack of a case is expected at this price point. If you put this sound in a Koss porta pro form factor, you might have the perfect casual headphones. But overall, for the money this is an awesome purchase, and the issues I have are easy to look past due to the lovely sound.
