Moondrop edge

These people are thieves I bought the moondrop edge headphone which I never receive and claiming that the package was delivered I ask for signature or photography proof of delivery to my address they can't please stay well away from these thieves.

Hi there,

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and we understand your frustration.

The tracking shows that your package was delivered on January 29th. If you are still unable to locate the package, we will escalate the issue with the service provider for further investigation.

In the meantime, we kindly ask that you contact the local carrier to request proof of the package being lost. With this proof, we can attempt to file a compensation claim on your behalf.

Thank you for your understanding and time!

Holy mother of God. These sound like they should cost a grand.

For starters, none of the pressure issue another reviewer mentioned for me. I have incredibly average ears, medium tips and typical shape canals, most tips fit me.

I also find the nozzles of the truthear zero too wide and uncomfortable. These are large but not uncomfortable.

They are huge. The cable's earloops needed to be slightly warmed with a hair dryer and bent tighter to loop around my (again incredibly average) ears.

Tips wise, the included worked well but I wanted something a little closer to my ear, so I went with the new BGVP copper nozzle tips. The included tips are just fine though. Dunu SS made them stick out a little far.

And holy crap, the 3d printed case is the nicest 3d printed thing I have EVER laid hands on. Like what the heck. It must have taken an hour to print on an ultra high end 3d printer. And it's so usable.

The iems look nice, are decently light and feel well made, despite how huge they are.

And the sound is the best part. The bone conductor is full range, and the whole thing is just unbelievably cohesive. Something like the plutus beast is aggressive but sounds like you can pick out each driver. There's no BA tamber, no separation between the bone conductor and the DD. I wouldn't call it "warm" because I hate warm sounding things. And it's quite aggressive. But it's insanely smooth. The bass hits so hard, but doesn't bleed into the kids. The clarity is superb, but never sharp. The instrument layering is excellent and natural. Vocals are equally natural across the board. And the weight to the bass from that bone conductor means that monster base songs are just hedonistic.

And the soundstage and imaging are just spectacular. I love huge soundstage and these are huge. You can pick out direction super well. Fresh reviews gave them a really high rating for esports gaming and I can confirm as an amateur that it's superb. Stuff like yosi horikawa is both insanely natural but spacious and has great directionality.

I genuinely can't find a fault with the sound. They are very bulky and I prefer smaller nozzles but they don't become egregious like the nozzles of the truthear crinacle zero's, and sometimes I do prefer a little more sharpness from treble (but I am a treble head who adores grado so take that for what you will)

This is spectacular. It truly dominates in the under $500 range. Buy it.

Faulty after two weeks and terrible service from Linsoul!

I love how these IEMs look and sound but the left channel (left earbud) started cutting out after only two weeks. Sometimes it is way softer and other times it cuts out entirely after entirely normal use. I verified it happens with any cable and any source. They're very new and the nozzle isn't clogged.

This one star is also for Linsoul, who wouldn't send me a replacement pair or offer a return, instead asking me to jump through hoops by attempting to record the imbalance with my cellphone camera for them! At the time of writing this, the left channel is softer than the left but it's not dramatic enough to be picked up on a crappy phone mic (even though it's dramatic when you wear them). Never ordering from Linsoul again, because they clearly don't believe their customers and put good service last. I used to be a loyal customer but never again.

If you do roll the dice on this iem, buy it from a better company if you can.

Bought primarily for gaming. Very well balanced across multiple games. Also, it is great quality for music.

I've paired up my K7 with Hifiman Ananda and Arya. I am beyond satisfied. To whom it isn't obvious, it will output through both jacks at the same time too.

A Balanced and Immersive Sound at an Affordable Price

The Kiwi Quartet offers a surprisingly good listening experience for its price. The sound is warm and balanced, with well-defined bass, detailed mids, and smooth yet present highs. They are ideal for genres like jazz, pop, and acoustic music, where instruments and vocals feel natural and well-represented.

Comfort is another strong point, as their ergonomic fit allows for long listening sessions without fatigue. Additionally, the included cable is of good quality and helps reduce interference.

If you're looking for versatile IEMs with a pleasant and detailed sound profile, the Kiwi Quartet is an excellent choice in its price range. Highly recommended!

Great neutral sounding IEM

Neutral sound, airy and clear, bass is present but lacks depth. Good build quality with a decent stock cable and plenty of eartips, including a pair of foam tips.

Absolute top quality cable. The sound is better compared to the (new) stock 64Audio cable with wider soundstage, more precise mids and treble with just a little less bass. Yes, it’s thicker. But I find it OK to use it at work or at home and even for a walk. Certainly not suitable for jogging but this cable’s target IEMs don’t fall in that category.
For this price, I wish that Dunu had included the 4.4 and 2.5 balanced connectors, especially because these Chrome/Grey finish are very very very hard to find. They only came with Dunu Blanche cable back in 2020s and with SA6 snd Zen IEMs.

Thank you Linsoul!

Punches above it's price and has exceptional spatial performance

Purchased directly from Linsoul during the Summer LEC sale. This was one of the surprise purchases of what was a large bulk buy. Turned out to be one of the few IEMs that were purchased that are still around 8 months later. The detail that jumps out immediately is the orbital stage, and the fantastic spatial cues provided by the dual layer TESLA dynamic driver. It's very capable, and exhibits a very natural, warm, and fun signature, that's either slight V or U shaped, with shimmery, airy treble, that's not hot or crispy, but crisp and textured, warm and tonally accurate midrange, that has a degree of incisiveness that makes keys, toms, and guitar tones inviting, and bass that punches quite hard, with decent rumble (bass is more mid bass focused vs sub bass), and above average presence. So if you like bass dominant music, such as reggae, hip hop, funk, or acid jazz, you will not be left for wanting. But the special sauce is in the stage and imaging. Spacious, orbital, and with very good separation. Information can be found in front of you, to the sides, behind your ears, but not necesarily out of head, like a BCD. There's warmth, but also details are not spared, though admittedly, not the most technical or analytical, due to the balanced warmth, but enough to not make you feel you're missing out, and you get a musical, spacious, and bassy signature that's satisfying for many genres, while not skimping on incisiveness on the top end or the mids.

Great IEM

Bang For Buck

I grabbed the Moondrop Space Travel earbuds on a whim after hearing about their ANC for under $30, and wow! The bass hits hard without muddying vocals, and the transparency mode is surprisingly crisp when I need to hear train announcements.
Battery life gets me through my 1-hour commute easily. ANC isn’t AirPods-level, but it drowns out subway hum better than any buds I’ve tried in this price range.
For $25? Zero regrets. These punch way above their price tag, and I’ve already recommended them to three friends. I'm not fan of the case design tho, must be careful not to drop them...

find the timeless AE instead

missing the detail and soundstage that the original had. the different nozzles can play around with it some, but ultimately it's still little trade-offs in the eq that fall short. the timeless AE by comparison is more detailed, wider soundstaged, fuller with more forward mids, and louder despite both being around 15ohms. sub bass is bumped higher than the original, that's about it.
on its own merit without comparing it to it's brothers, id say it's totally fine, but definitely not at the price point. i wouldn't pay more than 100 for them. kinda like the eternal, i really wanted to like them, and tried so hard to find the niche or magic combination but they just fall short. such a shame too because they look incredible.

Simgot ET142- Hybrid headphones with a balance of technicality and musicality!

Simgot ET142 is a really cool hybrid headphone that surprised me with its rich package and very technical and extremely balanced sound. They use a planar driver and a piezoelectric driver, which gives a very interesting sound at the output: detailed, clear, but with very deep bass and a nice warmth in the midrange. And the coolest thing is the ability to change the drivers and customize the sound to your liking. Want - warm and relaxed sound with an emphasis on low frequencies okay without problems just put short sound nozzles, and want to get a brighter, energetic and detailed sound then well just use long sound nozzles. And the package here really also pleases: the cable is of maximum quality, comfortable, plus this time there is a bunch of different ear cushions in the kit. And the most important thing is that these headphones sit in your ears very comfortably, even if you listen to them for hours on end. In general, if you're looking for headphones that can do everything from deep bass to detailed treble, the ET142s are definitely worth your attention. They'll suit both those who like to listen to music thoughtfully and analytically, and those who just want to enjoy the sound.

Great audio quality, cheap build quality

The packaging was cheap. Unlike the Moondrop Chu II, they did not come with a carrying bag. However, they did come with a variety of colored eartips, plus the red ones already on. The cable is cheap as well, and the housing plastic. Overall I would say they are a tier below the Chu IIs in terms of material quality and packaging. However, they do at least make up for that with the audio quality. I wouldn't necessarily call it "better", just different. They are deeper sounding with more emphasis on the bass and mids.

It's difficult to recommend them for a first IEM, I think the CHU IIs are still the better choice, but it's mostly up to personal preference to sound signatures if we ignore material/build/packaging quality.

7Hz Timeless 2 is an improved version of the legendary model!

The character of the sound is bright, clean, detailed, with a well-presented sub-bass.
The headphones have a bias towards the upper key.
Headphones like more power, and it is with a powerful source, even if it is budgetary, that they are able to open up and show the scale and filling of the scene.
I used different dac amplifiers and a couple of audio players and came to the conclusion that soft music sources or devices with a neutral pitch would be more suitable for Timeless 2.
Exclude sources with technical sound.

Initially, the vocals attract attention, they have high resolution and clarity of diction.
The performer stands out significantly against the background of the arrangement, the backing vocals are also well emphasized.
The voices of the performers are really lively, the smallest nuances are readable.
The vocals are clear to the point of transparency, as if floating in the air.
Whistling and hissing sounds are highlighted, but do not turn into sibilants.
The stage is quite wide, cone-shaped or trapezoidal, depending on the source.
As the power increases, the atmosphere in the scene fills up, becoming more dense and lively.
The listener is located in the first third of the hall.

The upper frequencies have a silvery color, they are more prone to a cold shade of sound.
There is an emphasis in the area of 8 and after 12 kHz, so the tops are detailed and abundant.
They may seem a little thin at some points, but they sound beautiful.
The percussion and cymbals of the drum kit are heard crumbly-separately, with the presence of the necessary granularity.

The midrange range is very similar to the Simgot ET142
The same impeccable presentation of live acoustic instruments.
An excellent acoustic guitar and an incredibly lively and realistic saxophone.
I would like to add a little physicality to the piano.
Electric guitars on effects are textured and aggressive, as they should be.

Low frequencies, namely sub-bass, deserve special praise.
The infrasound digs deep enough, becoming intelligible already at 20 hz, and specifically declares itself from 25 hz.
It has a pronounced texture and fills the scene with volume.
I want a little more mid-bass to add density to the sound, since the shift in tonality to the upper part of the range concentrates attention on itself.
Nevertheless, the bottom is quite enough and it is really good.
Metal sounds massive, with powerful low-frequency support.
Orchestral works also surprise with the massiveness of the big drum, the sound of which is perceived as rolling thunderclaps.

I recommend 7Hz Timeless II for metal (except classical heavy/hard), any electronics, orchestra, vocal works, folk rock, jazz.
Headphones with a clear, juicy pitch, aimed at fans of bright sound.
They will make great friends with musical, warm and neutral sources.
It's a good model that you can safely add to your collection.
