First off these were amazing iems until they broke after two weeks of use the right side earbud only has a quarter of the volume now. I contacted support so hopefully I can get them replaced because this is crazy.
Awesome bass head IEM with the ability to also work well with sll genres.
Fast shipping from Linsoul. 👍🏻👍🏻
10. Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Super smooth and clean
- Decent soundstage and technicalities
- Warm-neutral profile
- Good build.
- Great for long, laid-back sessions.
Cons:
- Treble and upper mids lack that energy and sparkle for those who love it.
- The accessories need to be better, eartips and cable.
- Chonky and large shells.
I was surprised by the excellent quality of the sound provided by 20$% headphones
Really cool looking and nicely fit inside my ears! great audio and a worthy cop.
The sound presentation, thanks to the conduction driver, was a bit unusual. The bass presentation moves deeper into the head, causing a physical sensation in response. I've described it before as a tactile sensation, and I don't think I was wrong. But it's also a pleasant, controlled, and well-presented bass. No exaggeration. The mids and highs are detailed, with a controlled, precise, and pleasant brightness. The soft, neutral tone of the Singolos seems to give way to a slight V-shaped curve, with an emphasis on the midrange and a slight hint of warmth (thanks to the beryllium?). The highs, delivered by the BAs, are precise and detailed.
The soundstage, I don't know if due to the conduction driver, is three-dimensional. It presents acceptable depth and width. However, the vibration produced by the IEM can interfere at certain frequencies. It's not severe, but it is occasionally noticeable. This seems to represent the only negative point I've managed to unravel.
In summary. The Étude's sound is quite sophisticated (a little wink for French speakers). They feature incredible detail, a three-dimensional soundstage projection, deep, detailed bass, and with the incredible implementation of the tactile element of the bone conductor, it's a very special IEM. I have no complaints about the sound (vibration aside), and in fact, it sounds like they'll be a full rotation for my listening sessions.
Gigantic, visceral bass response with subwoofer-like physicality and depth
Dual DD + planar + BA setup offers surprisingly refined technicalities for a basshead IEM
Excellent layering and channel separation, especially in complex electronic and ambient tracks
Smooth upper mids and treble, non-fatiguing even in brighter recordings
Natural timbre in the midrange, especially impressive considering the aggressive low end
Highly immersive soundstage with great width and noticeable front-back depth
Build quality feels premium, despite the aggressive driver count and budget-friendly price
Energetic and fun sound that still respects imaging and The Punch Audio Martilo isn’t just a big-bass IEM. It’s an articulate bruiser, a rare union of slam and subtlety, weight and air, warmth and finesse. With a hybrid config that blends dual DD impact, planar speed, and BA clarity, it brings a level of sonic excitement that’s usually chaotic — but here, it’s all under control.More than this....its a musical set above all and this is clearly demonstrated in most of the ocassions where vocals play crucial role in any track making Martilos ideal for a pure sentimental reproduction as well......
It doesn't pretend to be neutral. It doesn't try to win over critical purists.
It’s here for those who love rhythm, texture, and soul in their music — all backed by bass that means business....genre versatility
Great synergy with copper and SPC cables
Sounds very fun for electronic/rap music and also good tool for studio - tracking or finding the "bad" frequencies, because the sound is focused. Built very nice but lackluster comfort (tho for this price can't complain). White version looks slick.
Probably great for regular people but my ear canals are very small and only found the smallest Gate IEM tips to work pain free for me, these were too big and fell out in a few minutes. Price and build quality are very nice though!
Picked this up to pair with my Tripowin Altura that I got for my HD6XXs and this cable works great with my Gate IEMs. Wish they made this in gray as well so it fully matched my Altura cable but for the price I cant complain. both are plugged into my SSL 2+ MKII and I have had no issues with them so far!
This is an aesthetic item, it will not make your audio sound better or more clearer then the original Sennheiser Cables but it will make interaction with your headset that much nicer since instead of a rubbery plastic cable dragging on your desk and arm, now its a beautifully woven soft braided cable!
Great build quality, they sound clear, alright soundstage, alright bass.
Could've included some more varied ear tips, like ones that go deeper inside for a more sturdy fit, for example.
It works and sounds great, its easy to use and transfer music to. It does everything ot says it willd do. But... It is nearly all plastic and does not feel like a $50 product. The build quality of the case and the buttons reminds me of my cheap mp3 player from 2004.
Sound is great. Far better than the Sures I was using before. The cord is a little short, be nice if they came with some tips that were more sound isolating
It may not be the best overall Planar. It may not be the cheapest IEM with the best sound or the most all-round sound... but so what?
This Aether has something few others have. A brutal soundstage. A very well-crafted timbre... that alone makes it worth having, even if it's just as a second headphone in your collection. Its price is very reasonable, and I think it's a great value for what it offers.

Is it bad to be like this? No. This IEM is more neutral and even more coherent than the Ziigaat Odissey. I think it's very, very good and another success from this brand that knows what it's doing.
Possibly one of the best all-rounder IEMs you can buy at these prices.
Of course, for a little more money you get a product with more and better bass, immersion, and slightly better technical aspects.

While the Timeless Original was already interesting, this IEM improves on aspects such as dynamics, timbre, and depth.
Added to the quality already present with the previous product, this 7Hz Timeless II is a great option for this price. I'm not mistaken when I say it's generally superior to the Aether, Timeless AE, S12 Pro, and so on.

For the price they are really worth it,the earbuds are comidissimo it feels like you don't even have them and the audio quality is crazy for the price, recommended!
Valhalla is definitely an evolution of Monarch MK2 with more V-shape and enhanced bass in both quantity and quality.
Every note, from beginning to end, is meticulously handled, with some even emitting a hum and rumble at very low volume before fading, a sensation I haven't experienced with other earphones.
Theiaudio returns the King among my limited collections.
Valhalla > 622B > > Grand Maestro > Prestige LTD
True open back soundstage, elite detail and technicalities, beautiful musicality. Plus a well built, retro design. 5 stars!
My biggest reason for wanting a DAP was because I was getting annoyed with all the things my phone does poorly, including playing music. Simplified interfaces make navigating settings a nightmare, and so few even have the ability for gapless play! There's a few things I dont love about the R1'a interface, some of the buttons are too easy to press, but there are loads of settings you can get in and change. Now that I have it im afraid im turning into an audiophile.
It's great for what it aims to do. Bass doesn't bleed into mids at all, and tuning past the bass is excellent. I don't recommend it for non-bassheads wanting to listen to bass-heavy music. However, even for non-bass heads, if you're listening to other kinds of music, the Martilos add an amazing rumble to everything; combined with the overall pleasant tuning, people who aren't bass heads can enjoy these IEMs too. For the price, I would say they're worth it, even for people who don't live for bass.
Additionally, I highly recommend using them with TRI Clarion tips.
