Self-Developed PSRM Technology
At the core of the D900 lies TOPPING’s proprietary PSRM (Precision Switching Resistor Matrix) decoding system, a fully discrete 1-bit architecture that redefines digital audio reproduction. It consists of an ultra-high-speed switching logic array paired with precision voltage references, working together to achieve remarkable decoding speed while preserving the purity of the original audio signal. The design emphasizes not only speed and accuracy, but also control over power supply interference. A purely resistive, noise-free reference voltage design ensures minimal distortion and noise, helping the D900 reach harmonic distortion levels below -140dB and a signal-to-noise ratio as high as 131dB.
Proprietary Discrete I/V Conversion
To complement the PSRM decoding, the D900 features a newly designed discrete I/V conversion circuit. This stage uses carefully selected low-distortion operational amplifiers and ultra-low noise discrete components to maintain signal fidelity from digital to analog.
