Customers praised these 10-BA driver IEMs for exceptional clarity, natural mids, and balanced sound. Many noted the "excellent separation" and "deep soundstage." The included cable and case impressed shoppers. However, some found comfort issues and bass lacks dynamic driver impact. One customer found them uncomfortable despite trying different tips.

Love this

Let's start with the unboxing, the orchestra 2 came in a smaller box than I expected but still nicely and efficiently packaged. Inside the package was everything you needed to get started. Two containers full of various tips and a wonderful cable that has a nice thickness, beautiful silver color and and is modular. You also get a very large quality case for storage.
The build is phenomenal, I absolutely love the way the faceplate shifts colors in the light. Overall, the build is solid with a nice face plate and the crystal resin back. This gives the MoonDrop Dark Saber and Blessing 3 a run for its money in both looks and quality of sound. I found them comfortable for my ears and provided excellent isolation but I can see smaller ears being slightly tight. Tip selection I chose the clear with the black inner tube as my favorite out of the selection but later used Tangzu tips as my travel ones.

The Kiwis were tested with a large eclectic variety of music ranging from everything from speed metal to country music and jazz. The equipment used in testing was the questyle M15, M15i Blue and Purple, ifi Valkyrie and Griffin , tempotec V3 blaze and the SMSL D20 and TRI TK2.

Sound impressions:
Based on this all BA in-ear monitor was surprisingly good. It had a nice depth and nice texture well, it lacked the deep deep impact of a dynamic driver. It still did an excellent job in providing detail, clarity and some some bass rumble. Mid-Bass had superb speed and minimal bleed into the midrange. Midrange was nicely warm and detailed with crisp clarity in the upper mid-range and a mild warmth in the lower mid-range. I found the Treble well done enough extension without overwhelming and even if it's slightly smoother than expected it still came across quite natural and with enough detail and clarity. Soundstage was normal, accurate and without exaggeration or a synthetic depth and width.

Perfect 10 x BA drivers - Is it a price performance leader ?

Pros:
Exceptional consistency for a multi BA driver IEM
Mid frequencies that feel incredibly realistic
Clean and controlled bass response
Smooth and refined highs that vary depending on the source
Strong depth and layering in the soundstage
Scales very well with high quality sources
Cons:
Lacks physical and intense bass impact compared to dynamic driver IEMs
Doesn't pursue excess or brightness in any aspect.
Requires good source matching to reach its full potential
For those seeking a more colorful sound, a fully BA setup might feel too controlled.

No Show, Just Music

The Kiwi Ears Orchestra II are one of those IEMs that slowly grow on you the more you listen to them. They do not try to impress you with massive bass, exaggerated treble or fake technical fireworks during the first five minutes. Instead, they focus on something much harder to achieve: balance, coherence and long term musicality.

What impressed me the most is how natural and controlled they sound across the entire frequency range. Vocals feel believable, instruments have excellent separation and the tuning never becomes aggressive or fatiguing, even during very long listening sessions.

For a full BA setup, the bass performance is honestly very convincing. It is fast, clean and articulate without trying to fake the physical slam of a dynamic driver. At the same time, the treble remains detailed and airy while avoiding that sharp and artificial character that many modern IEMs seem to chase today.

The Orchestra II are not built for quick wow effect. They are built for people who simply want to sit down, relax and enjoy music for hours. And honestly, that kind of tuning is becoming rarer and rarer in today’s market.

excellent referece

A highly detailed IEM with 10 balanced armature drivers per side, delivering a clean, precise, and well-balanced sound. The mids stand out (great for drums and vocals), and the treble is clear without being harsh.

Bass is tight and fast, but lacks the punch of dynamic drivers.

👉 Overall: excellent for monitoring and critical listening, but a bit analytical for casual enjoyment

10-BA Precision: Open-back airiness in a ventless shell.

The Orchestra II delivers an incredibly clean and precise sound through its 10-BA array.
Its standout charm is the rare combination of 'ear-side' intimacy for vocals and a breathtaking transparency that defies its ventless, closed-back nature.

I'm not much of a writer, so I'll keep it brief. These in-ear headphones sound much more expensive than they are. Yes, the Sony IER-Z1R has better bass and sound density thanks to its dynamic driver, but they're also much more expensive. Yes, the Pure Dope have a wider soundstage, but they're planar. These are excellent 10-driver armatures with a great fit and passive sound isolation. The kit is excellent, but I'm used to immediately installing my favorite tips, which provide even better sound isolation, so I didn't try them. And the delivery was very fast. Thanks to Kiwi and Linsoul for a great addition to my two favorite in-ear models. So now I have three models.I'm not much of a writer, so I'll keep it brief. Mediocri

Il suono non mi soddisfa appieno e sono veramente scomode, riesco a tollerare per poco tempo nonostante abbia preso anche i gommini a parte

Dear Customer,

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We understand that you have tried different ear tips yet still find the earphones uncomfortable to wear.

In some cases, discomfort may occur due to factors such as ear canal shape, insufficient seal, or pressure build-up during longer listening sessions.

Based on your order, we can see that you are currently using silicone ear tips. To help improve your wearing comfort, we kindly suggest trying different sizes and different materials of ear tips. In particular, memory foam ear tips may provide a better fit and seal, as they conform more closely to the shape of the ear canal and can help reduce pressure and improve comfort during extended use.

We truly appreciate your understanding, and please feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance.

BAs nearly done right!

Beautiful IEMs, cable is top class, best cable ever included, even besides the huge termination.
They sound fantastic. Layers exposed wonderfully. Separation is on point. Bass kicks harder than BA bass has right to.

Highly recommend divinus velvet or tang sancai tips as these are not vented. Pressure build up is real. If orchestra 3 are vented, similar to how Valhalla manage, then it’s a day one but.

Kiwi Ears Orchestra II can pinpoint each and every instrument in space

I have limited experience with high end IEMs or headphones. I have a Wu Zetian OG planar, FatFreq Deuce 2xDD, and the DD 7Hz Legato. I own two openbacks, Drop 6XX and HifiMan XS with Capra strap for comfort. This is my first all (any) BA set, and boy, oh boy am I impressed. With my planar and dynamic driver sets I though I could pick out details, but with the Orchestra II, I can place each and every instrument in space, especially when listening to orchestral music. Pop music is punchy and vibrant. Bass is present, but not chest-deep like FatFreq, nor as present with a planar, but still very noticable. I really like this set as it is very different from my other cans, and different is always good, especially when done well. A great achivement from Kiwi Ears and Linsoul!
