I have several dacs to compare this dac to. I purchased this one to connect to my iPhone to listen to dsd. I would highly recommend this product. Don’t let the price fool you. This dac sounds very good when connected to my phone, headphones and my very expensive speakers.

Excellent When It Works

I've been using the UA2 with a pair of Shure SE846s and I must say the sound quality it brings out on high res tracks is great, it also gives a decent volume boost that makes it useful for listening with larger headphones.

It is however not perfect, I've found that there is an issue where the audio cuts in and out on some devices, particularly on my Windows 10 Dell Inspiron 7566 and Windows 7 Lenovo P50 laptops (I did install the drivers from the Shanling website). It also does cut in and out on rare occasions with my Galaxy S10, although this may possibly be due to a loose connection when moving around with my phone. I'm not entirely sure if the issue is on the UA2 side or my device side since it works flawlessly on my PC (Windows Server 2019) and iPad Pro. But having said that, even with the issues on my laptops it is still well worth the price.

If you are looking to get into high res music I highly recommend the UA2, this is my first high res DAC so I can't really compare to anything else but I can definitely hear the difference. Maybe just be a bit wary that it may not work properly if you plan to use this with a Windows laptop.

Most of the items you see are in stock and ready to be shipped after 3 working days. If you plan to order a custom (Design or Fit) product, a pre-order, or a made to order item processing times may change on item to item basis.

Standard Shipping
15 to 30 Days.

Standard shipping is offered free worldwide for orders under $199 USD (with some exceptions), but please consider that delivery times may vary considerably depending on your country, up to 90 Days.

Express Shipping
3-6 Working Days.

All items over $200 include free express shipping (DHL or similar). If your order total is under $200 you can manually add Express Shipping during the checkout period for $15.00 USD

Which countries do you ship to?

We are generally able to ship to most countries via DHL Express, and many countries via Standard Shipping. You may clarify with our team to see whether Standard Shipping is available to your country.

*Note: We can only do Standard Shipping for the UK, India and Russia. We can only do Express Shipping to Africa, Argentina, Hawaii, Kuwait, Mauritius, Montenegro and Sri Lanka, to name a few.

How much does shipping cost?

We have two shipping options - Standard Shipping and Express Shipping via DHL Express.

  • Standard Shipping is free, while Express Shipping is 10-35USD depending on your country. If your order is over 200USD, Express Shipping is free.
  • Shipping fees exclude import taxes or processing fees that might be applicable for your country. Linsoul is not responsible for any form of such fees.

How long does it take to process my order after it is placed?

For in-stock products, your order will be shipped within 3 working days.

Customized items will take a longer time (do check in with our staff for more information).

On normal non-sale days, once your parcel has been shipped out:

For Standard Shipping, it takes about 2-3 weeks for items to be delivered after shipping out. For some countries, it might take up to 2-3 months, depending on your country and its customs. The duration for transit is something beyond our control. Linsoul will not be making refunds for such cases. Please consider an upgrade to DHL Express or keep the waiting time in mind.

For Express Shipping, it takes about 3-7 days for items to be delivered after shipping out.

*Note: Timings might be affected due to festive seasons or other unforeseen circumstances

Which countries do you ship to?

1. Kindly contact your local courier using the local tracking number. We will not process a refund or reshipment of the parcel since it has been shipped.

2. Customers are to bear the consequences and fees incurred, if the parcel was undelivered due to any of the following situation:

  • Wrong address or phone number provided by recipientRecipient was uncontactable when courier company contacted
  • Recipient was uncontactable when courier company contacted
  • Refusal to sign for the package by recipient
  • Lost or damaged parcel because recipient opted for “no-signature delivery”
  • Refusal to pay for the local tax/processing fee by recipient
  • Refusal to provide supporting documents for custom clearance by recipient

Who will pay for my import tax/custom fees?

Customers have to bear any form of custom/import/processing fees that are applicable for your parcel.

Should you be unwilling to pay for the fees and reject the delivery of the parcel, you will still have to pay for the shipping cost. Linsoul will only refund the amount of your order after deducting the shipping cost incurred.

How do I get help for my order?

For faulty/missing items, please send an email to to process warranty. In your email, please choose an appropriate Subject Title. Kindly include your Order Number, and state your issue clearly. Please also attach photographs/videos as “proof”, if any.
