Broken after little over a month

I like the look and the feel of the cable and the mic is a nice addition. Sadly the cable is already breaking (right headphone stops working and stuff) after just little over a month of not so heavy usage.

Best value for money

Excellent headphones! I recommended them to all my friends and I’ve been using them non-stop for almost 2 months now. Didn’t believe they would be so good as what I heard but they beat all expectations!

They are fine

Overprize for what they deliver, but they are good. Great delivery times. 5 star for Linsoul.

The real budget killer set

Just incredible value for the money. Not the last word in bass, soundstage or cable build quality. The cable is detachable, though.

Tuning is just bang on natural and upper mids/treble are very well presented that way. Not the most technical set but the naturalness of everything fixes pretty much all these "problems".

The accessories are also a wee bit thin in quantity and quality. (Tips in picture are NOT included, they are the OG TinHifi foam tips).

Then you come down to the price and at that point this set becomes what you would call a NO-BRAINER. Just a massively solid rec.

7Hz Legato: The Bass Bringer

The Bass Bringer

This is my first product review from 7Hz and my second encounter on dual DD IEMs after QKZ X HBB Khan. This time, 7Hz takes a different approach on tuning that separates them from their competitors. Will they be able to succeed in their endeavour?

PROS:

△ A solid, high quality aircraft-grade aluminium alloy shell chassis.
△ Good quality and quantity inclusions
△ That large, hard-bound, zippered IEM case.
△ An added extra filters is actually good gesture from 7Hz for the longevity of their sets.
△ Hard-hitting, tactile and boomy bass response that bass heads will truly appreciate.
△ Good power scaling capability.
△ Warm and sufficiently dense note weight in some parts of frequency range spectrum.
△ Smooth and non-aggressive treble response that devoid of any possible occurrences of sibilance or harshness.

CONS:

▽ Noticeable bass bleeds across frequency range that affects the overall sound quality.
▽ Recession on some part of midrange region that impacts the tonal and timbre quality of some types of female vocals and even instruments.
▽ Treble quality is a bit smooth and subdued in my liking as it quite inadequate of being crisp and sparkling.
▽ It has a mediocre technical performance.

Basshead beware

The bass is good but they’re a bit shouty, which is kind of distracting. They’re also pretty small iems, which was a plus for me. 8/10

Excellent tuning for the price

Got a bunch of IEMs around 20 bucks from Linsoul and this set was one of them..

Spoiler alert: this set is NOT staying with me in the long run. Don't get me wrong, the tuning is absolutely great. It's the technical side of things that gets me eventually, and really pushes me towards letting these go. On top of that, the Salnotes set has a bunch of real tough customers to beat it on these areas:

Way more technical AND better tuned set is the Moondrop Chu. Especially combined with the Moondrop Dawn DAC. A good combo for the price!

Also got the CCA CRA. Way more fun. Just a fun, V-shaped hitter! Easily beats the Salnotes in this particular area, in my opinion.

BLON-BL03 was also one of my picks and that set will probably stay with me forever, just a monster on all around sound quality, not necessarily on the technical side but hammers down way more expensive sets, let alone the Salnotes. Just a natural sounding set, especially on hits and vocs.

There ya go! The Salnotes Zero is a very good set for the money, it just can't hang with this bunch of BEAST IEMs. It just sounds more muffled, more reserved, it sort of holds out more that the other sets give out on their respective areas. BUT it's 20 bucks and for that, it's an absolute rec for everybody to find out for themselves!

Decent

The design is my favourite: build quality is extremely durable and surprisingly light despite the metallic design. The cable design is really good but the stickiness of the sleeve will reduce over time.
The box is unnecessarily huge, the soft extra layer is somewhat useless consider the iems’ durability. the box can also fit my other stuffs like my iphone 12 mini, power bank, adapters, keys, etc. So I think it is a pros :D.

The bass is immense, which result from the cable, ear tips, and the drivers.
For bass lover, it seems ideal, but for me, I prefer the neutral tuning.
Also, in order for the iems to sound at their best, you might need an amplifier or use it at high volume level, which why I don’t highly recommend these iems.
Lastly, my experiences using this iem is good. It has good control, the range is just enough, decent upper mid and treble. however, the stock cable is not the my favourite choice for sound quality. The appearance is the best among 7hz’s iems. For this price, the iem is really good but can’t compared to other 7hz’s iconics.

It is a nice resin build. Comfort was good, fit was a bit tricky for my ears. The nozzle is shorter so I believe that is why I had issues. I ended up using a different size tip for each ear for proper seal.

Sound wise, here are the 4 options:

Both switches off (default tuning I'm guessing) will give you a good amount of bass. It extends very well. Midrange feels flat and you get a slight elevation of treble. Mids are a bit...muffled at times, but still give enough presence.

Both switches on: this is a more vshaped sound. Boosted bass and boosted upper regions of the FR. Great sound for casual, engaged, gaming and movie watching!

Left on and right off: this is my least favorite. Boosted bass but the rest is more flat. Gives to a dark tuning that is also warm up top. Perhaps useful for monitoring low end of music.

Left off and right on: this is probably more of a harman type tuning to me. Gives good bass still but then slightly boosts upper to give more presence. Great for vocals but also found good for natural instruments and classical arrangements.

Over all, I think the Quartet can have a switch tuning for everyone to enjoy. These can get bright to some, however, I did not feel they were for me.
