Really impressed with these. The USB-C connection is convenient and works exactly as expected, with no adapters or messing around. Sound quality is surprisingly good for the price — clear, detailed and well balanced, with enough bass to keep things enjoyable without drowning everything else out.

They’re comfortable for longer sessions, feel well made, and the cable and connectors don’t feel cheap. I’d already been happy with this style of earbud, so getting the USB-C version was an easy choice. For the money, they’ve been excellent and I’d happily buy them again.

Truthfully, I bought this for the package alone. Decent cable, Sancai wide bore tips, a cool box and cloth. I didn't expect much from the IEM itself. Turns out I was wrong because these things slap for the price. They're not the most detailed but they're quite an easy musical listen for me. There are two things that stop them from being 5 star. The first is they have very short nozzles and big shells, I needed to go through a few tips before I found something that sealed well. Secondly the QC is a known weak spot on these. My own units are working fine but the right 2 pin connector is looser than I'd like and I don't know how it will hold up over time. Still, very hard to complain for the price and the package.

Balanced Sound & Durable Build, But Mic Controls Need Work

The Red Lion Base Edition IEM has a really good sound signature. It strikes the right balance between vocals and bass, so both sound clear without one overpowering the other.

The cable is of good length and feels durable. The only issue is with the in-line mic — the play/pause function does not work.

The IEM housing feels a little bulky and takes some time to get a comfortable fit in the ear. On the positive side, the silicone tips included in the box are good quality and offer a decent seal.

Overall, for the price, the Red Lion Base Edition delivers solid audio performance and build, with just a few minor usability drawbacks.

Disappointed

Originally they worked great but I’ve have these for barely 3 months and the volume is already much softer in the right ear than the left one. I also dislike how they wrap around your ears. I started getting irritation behind my ears because of this in the beginning but after disinfecting them deeply I’m not getting any more reactions.

These are fantastic for the price with some caveats.

Let's start off with the positive, the tonality and clarity are great with these in this price range and slightly above. They have impactful bass that doesn't muddy the midst, or treble. The bass is well controlled. It's not overwhelming. I wouldn't consider these "basshead" levels of bass. It's not a neutral set. It's a fun tuning with a slight emphasis on bass. They are not a bright set. You will not hear an overwhelming amount of details you've never noticed before. But at the price, are you really expecting that? You can hear every instrument and synth sound with decent separation for the price. They are truly a fun budget set.

The negative... for the price, there isn't much to complain about. But I have one major issue. I seem to have a channel imbalance. The right is every so slightly louder than the left, making the sound stage feel unnatural. It's very annoying to me and I really can't ignore it. It's a budget set. What can we expect? The quality of the sound at this price was too good to be true in some aspects.

That pretty much describes everything, i expected a tiny package to arrive but what I got was a box that was a work of art, all the extras that were included are awesome. The price was so good, that I almost think I stole from you LOL.
I am super happy with the sound quality, I purchased them for my new phone, to use when out and about but quickly switched out my gaming IEM's for these and now use them daily. The sound quality is pretty good, they are much louder than my 7hz crinacle x zero 2 which to me is an added bonus. I have since recommended them to pretty much anyone I know. Amazing value for money!
