Preface:
Testing these headphones gave me a tremendous amount of pleasure, something I haven't experienced from mid-range IEMs in a long time.
It felt like I was listening to $1,000+ headphones.
This is a truly amazing model that delivers emotions!
Headphone Sound Character:
Excellent high-frequency detailing, a world of incredible detail without excessive harshness or brightness.
Every micro-detail and micro-nuance is presented as if under a magnifying glass, yet the headphones remain very comfortable; there's no fatigue from such a wealth of detail.
I'd also like to highlight the excellent microdynamics; even in challenging moments, the volume gradations of quiet instruments are audible.
Percussion instruments sound incredibly clear; you can hear every grain in the shaker.
Cymbals have long tails that scatter like silver sparks.
Metallic sounds are beyond praise here!
The midrange feels very precise and natural, with high resolution!
Electric guitars have a well-defined distortion texture, exactly what fans of heavy genres are looking for.
The piano is presented with authenticity, sounding precise and honest. The acoustic guitar is resonant and thick, with a wealth of overtones.
The saxophone doesn't just sound, it sings—sings easily, freely, spaciously, with a soaring sound.
The vocals have body and the necessary density.
At the same time, the vocals are ethereal, transparent, and light.
These headphones allow you to listen to low-quality recordings, as they skillfully conceal plosives and sibilants.
The low frequencies are dense, with sufficient weight.
The bass here is fast, fat, rich, and voluminous.
Such a luxurious amount of low end is not typical of balanced armature speakers, but the Sonion drivers work wonders; it's no wonder I prefer their speakers.
The headphones confidently reach the 25Hz low end.
The Yanyin Baker headphones have excellent tonal balance.
Thanks to the detailed highs and massive low-end support, these headphones produce a rich, incredibly engaging sound!
The soundstage is medium, the images are large, and there's a sense of the musicians' positioning on stage.
The orchestra is clearly structured.
Online shooter fans can use these headphones as a legitimate cheat, as they'll hear the slightest noise and understand enemy positions.
The Yanyin Baker headphones are undoubtedly the best value for money in this price range today.
I generally rate their sound as worth $1,000+.
These headphones definitely deserve a spot in my top 10 best headphones!
