Enhanced Sound with New-Generation Dynamic Driver
Moondrop has revamped the driver used in the original Chu IEMs, equipping the Chu II with a high-quality aluminum-magnesium alloy composite diaphragm dome and ultra-thin CCAW voice coil. This combination, along with the diaphragm's high rigidity and lightweight nature, delivers improved treble extensions and punchier bass response. The Chu II sets a new standard as the first budget IEM to incorporate an AL-Mg alloy composite diaphragm.
Anti-Oxidation Alloy Casted Shells
The Chu II retains the stylish design of its predecessor, featuring ear shells manufactured using Moondrop's advanced alloy casting technology. This manufacturing process ensures a robust and solid build structure with a refined textured finish. Additionally, the ergonomic shape of the ear shells guarantees a comfortable and secure fit, enhancing the overall listening experience.
CNC Machined Brass Acoustic Nozzle with Replaceable Mouth
The Chu II boasts a CNC machined brass acoustic nozzle, contributing to highly precise sound reproduction with a beautiful and rich tone. What's more, the filter at the mouth of the nozzle is replaceable, allowing users to easily swap it out if it gets damaged or blocked, ensuring uninterrupted audio performance.
Professional Tuning Adjustment

Very good sound quality and build quality for the price
Excellent build and fit is just right for me. I have smaller ear holes and I need a snug fit for that seal and the chu 2's made it easy to achieve.
In terms of the tuning: The midrange sounds like it is there but, a tad recessed. Low end is really where these things shine. They have a solid subbass and midbass tilt for hiphop tracks, I found Lupe Fiasco's samurai album great with these. Definitely great for lo-fi as well. The treble is a bit relaxed and non-fatiguing, again keeping it chill for most of it's response. Making this a bit of balanced but relaxed tuning.
I bought this as a gift to my son and he loves it. They are still working so they are well built. The sound is good but a bit dark, it misses some spark in the higher frequency range and the sound is very closed, I wish it were more open sound.
Its super good for 20 Bucks but it is still only 20 Bucks if you Got the money to spend just buy a better iem but if you dont its pretty good
I'm really amazed and surprized by the Chu II !
It's small and comfy and has a nice build (Though the brass nozzles that tarnish quite fast, better be careful if you live in a humid area).
I mainly play video games with these but they also follow me for listening music on my phone.
I liked the unboxing experience, and the leather case is very welcome at this price !
The sound is good:
-Fun Bass, Mids are well tuned, Treble doesn't feel "agressive" at all to me, Staging is good, Imaging is good, I like gaming with these a lot ! (I mainly listen to low tuned Metal subgenres and it sounds nice ! Drum kicks are not thin, the vocals are not drowned, and the instruments sounds "lively", and I can hear the Bass Guitar correctly, me happy! )
I definitely recommend, the Price to Performance ratio is amazing.
Moondrop Chu II
The reviews are true! I don't think any other IEM in this price range can beat its price to performance ratio. HOWEVER, despite the nice metal construction, the brass nozzles can oxidize/tarnish very easily even with whatever tips you use attached, and you definitely do not want that buildup on the filter or seeping into the housing. If you live in a humid climate, it's best to avoid these unless you clean and dry them frequently.
Absolutely perect - best value for that money.
Standard cable is about basic listening. But - if you choose symetric one, upgrade cable, the sound is muuuuuuch better. In that category perfectely balanced. Vítal sound. Metalllic shell.
Nothing against these IEMs for that money….😊

Hoy vemos los Moondrop Chu II, unos auriculares dinamicos super baratos que cuestan tan solo 19€. En el mundo audiofilo de los Iems Hi-Fi, la primera versión de estos Chu, cambiaron el mercado de los auriculares, y ahora han vuelto a hacerlo. tienen un tono muy balenceado pero no todo es oro, y en este video lo verémos. Spoiler, son de los mejores auriculares por menos de 20€.
