High Performance DAC +AMP 2 in 1
EX5 adapts NFCA circuitry, optimizing headphone output performance, and rivaling standalone desktop amps. By featuring 2 x EX9038Q2M decoding, dual-chip parallel structure also brings better performance.
Bluetooth 5.0 LDAC transmission
EX5 HiFi decoder has the certification of Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC/ AAC/ SBC/ APTX LL/ APTX HD protocol. Abandoning the built-in DAC of CSR8675, its digital signal will be connected 2 x ES9038q2M to decode so that we can get better sound quality from Bluetooth.
4 Output Mode Options
EX5 also characterizes three outputs: ¡°Headphone Amp¡±, ¡°RCA¡± and ¡°XLR¡±. It can be available to four output modes:¡± Headphone amp output only¡±, ¡°RCA output only¡±, ¡°XLR output only¡± and ¡°RCA+ XLR output¡± to adapt to different usage scenarios. Regardless of the output mode, the volume control is greatly effective.
Plug and Play
EX5 has a wide range of compatibility: Windows 10, MAC, Linux, IOS, Android can be plug and play. It is worth mentioning that EX5 uses 2nd generation 16 core XMOS XU216, meaning USB supports MQA full decode, PCM 32bit 768 kHz and DSD512 Native. Even in the face of higher-end ASIO applications, such as MAC drive-free, Win10 with customized Thesycon ASIO driver, EX5 can do a great job. All in all, PC becomes a professional HIFI source.
DAC + HPA Application &Pre amp Application
The EX5¡¯s output mode ¡°RCA output only¡±, ¡°XLR output only¡± and ¡°RCA+XLR output¡± is quite useful for multiple systems. You can use it to connect 2 different system of power amplifier, active speakers or other devices and adjust the volume on EX5. Because it uses digital volume adjustment so that the left and right channels can be balanced, and there will be no partial sound. Connect your digital audio sources and headphones to EX5, and you can enjoy higher-quality music on the headphones.
High performance DAC For Media Player Mobile Phones and Tablets
Connect the Bluetooth of the phone, tablet or notebook to EX5, or connect the power amplifier, active speakers or headphones to the EX5¡¯s output, and then EX5 will be your Bluetooth Headphone amp / Bluetooth DA.C. You can easily enjoy the high-quality music and convenience brought by Bluetooth 5.0. If your device supports LDAC transmission, you will get even more excellent experience.
