Shanling UA3 Portable DAC/AMP New Release on Linsoul Audio

Shanling has just announced their new portable DAC AMP- UA3, featuring the new AKM DAC. The AK4493SEQ is based on the AK4493, a DAC previously used in a wide range of high-end home and portable audio devices, and has been optimised to improve electrical performance and stability and to achieve high quality music playback with lower power consumption. The AK4493SEQ also has a very high specification, supporting 768kHz / 32bit, DSD512. ShanLing has further optimised the sense of line and dimensionality of the UA3, taking into account the product positioning and sound requirements of the UA3 itself, to create a sense of rhythm and a stronger quality presentation, giving the UA3 a stronger sound performance and adaptability.

In addition, the UA3 features dual amplifiers, dual headphone jacks, interchangeable cables and physical buttons.

The UA3 uses the RT6863 op-amp chip and an amplifier chip to ensure its powerful balanced amplification. The UA3 has a balanced output power of 211mw@32Ω and a short output power of 125mW@32Ω.

The UA3 is similar to the UA5 in terms of housing material, but with a more subtle feel. On the front are three physical buttons with customisable controls and digital volume adjustment. 

The UA3 can be controlled via the Eddict Player App (Android platform only), with channel balance settings, local volume settings, filter settings (6 filters in total), and these new features: ① Low power mode entry time can set the time when the UA3 enters low power standby mode, and the UA3 will enter "hibernate state" when idle. "The default function of the up and down keys allows you to set the up and down key function to adjust the volume of the phone or switch between up and down songs; ③ the up and down key button direction is defined. The upper part of the front side has RGB status lights, 44.1kHz and 48kHz are blue lights, 88.2kHz and 96kHz are green lights, 176.4kHz and 192kHz are yellow lights, 352kHz and above are purple lights, DSD files are white lights, and UAC1.0 mode is red light.
