So much fun

One of the best deals in iems, very versatile with switches that actually make a real difference.

Stock switches are great and fairly balanced, but you can tune them to your preference for a noticable bass or treble boost.

I love these headphones, the only improvement I would like to see is that the ear tip would stay on better. I have had to replace the ear tip several times in the last few months due to them falling off and getting lost.

CCA Hydro Review: The First CCA That Truly Feels Flagship

I’ve been deep in the KZ/CCA rabbit hole since 2020 and own a dozen at this point. For someone who likes good sound without spending crazy money, the KZ/CCA lineup has always been an easy experiment—especially when prices drop. Until now, my top pick was the CCA Rhapsody, but the new CCA Hydro has officially taken the number-one spot, and for good reason.

The biggest jump is in soundstage and separation. These are the best I’ve heard from KZ/CCA and noticeably ahead of their lower-tier models. With all tuning switches off, cymbals and hi-hats are clean and articulate, bass is present without overpowering, and vocals sit forward in a very natural way. I’m listening through a Douk P1 tube amp, which adds warmth to the mids, and Qobuz in exclusive mode at 24/192—which definitely matters, because without exclusive mode the DAC won’t actually get the high-rate stream.

Compared to other hybrids I own—the Simgot EW300, KZ ZSN Pro X, and the Rhapsody—the Hydro delivers the most complete frequency coverage and the most convincing imaging. The EW300 might still edge it out for pure critical listening due to its treble accuracy, but the Hydro is more engaging and fuller overall. Shells are large, but I’ve had no comfort issues, and the included foam tips isolate well.

If I have one criticism, it’s about KZ/CCA’s release strategy. They push out new models so fast that it often feels like customers are the test bed. But the Hydro feels different—they’ve been out for nearly a year and continue to get solid reviews, which makes me think more time and care went into this one. For my collection, they’re now the best CCA I own.

The CCA Hydro earbuds offer amazing quality for the price!
These are the best earphones I’ve had so far. I’ve been enjoying music as if I had brand new ears :) The sound is spacious, with clean frequencies and well-separated instruments. I’ve even started listening to genres I hadn’t explored before.

The 4-band equalizer is a great help for fine-tuning the highs and lows, adding flexibility to adjust the sound according to personal preference. If you like strong bass, just add +2dB to the lows. If you prefer more treble, add +2dB to the highs. I personally use the 1010 setting.

I’m very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend these to anyone whose ears can accommodate these relatively large units. I have big ears and have had no problems, but unfortunately they don’t fit my wife’s ears.

Excellent bass and clear non-siblant treble. Brings on the best in music using proper instuments, clearly identifying detail and position. Not the widest of sounstages but at this price does a good job.

I gave away my CRAs because the nozzles were too short. Think Dumbo.
I bought a pair of the ZS10 Pro 2 and found them pleasant to listen to so I bought the PR1 2 and 3 which were good but not as good as the Letshuoer S12 which I have.
I took a chance and bought the Hydro with the upgrade cable.
Removed the foam tips, put on the large Star line tips, checked the switches were 0000 and put on Saint-Saens symphony number 3 by the San Francisco orchestra and took a listen.
OMG! Popped in the S12s and listened to them. OMG again.
The Hydros were better than the S12s in every aspect.
Spent several hours listening to Jennifer Warnes, Enya, Bocelli, Toni Braxton w Babyface, Acoustic Alchemy,
David Benoit, and a slew of my other favorite cuts. Everything was better heard through the Hydros.
I use a LG V50 & V60 with a Fiio E11K, E12 and SMSL SP200.
The E12 & SP200 tightened up the bass a little bit but aside from that the Hydro sounded the same as directly from the LGs.

Since there were some incredible sales I also bought some Castor Harman, D-Fi, Polaris, ZVX, and ZSTX for family and friends. I also bought a pair of 7HZ Zero.
They are almost exactly on the Harman curve but there's several of the KZ and the Polaris that I prefer.
It's such a pleasure to have so many excellent iems to choose from and now that KZ / CCA have improved their tuning so much I hope to see many more even better IEMs in the future.
I have a pair of Thieaudio Monarchs which do sound better than the Hydros but certainly not 6 times better.
These are a massive improvement on any of the other KZ/CCA IEMs.

Every sound right where you need it!

Big fan of CCA when it comes to their ability to squeeze a ton of drivers into a shell and make it sound fantastic. If you have ever listened to the CCA C16's which are renowned as being almost perfectly neutral, you will love these-- a bit more low end thanks to the dual dynamic drivers, and all the mid range/high detail you could ever ask for.

Run them with all 4 of the dip switches in the OFF position and you won't be disappointed.

If only CCA would bring back the C16's, though....

Which countries do you ship to?

We are generally able to ship to most countries via Express Shipping, and many countries via Standard Shipping. You may clarify this with our team to check whether Standard Shipping is available to your country.

We cannot ship to addresses that are "PO boxes or APO/FPO".

*Note: Generally, we can only do Selected Shipping to India and Russia. We can only do Express Shipping to Africa, Argentina, Hawaii, Kuwait, Mauritius, Montenegro and Sri Lanka, to name a few.

How much does shipping cost?

We have two shipping methods - Standard Shipping and Express Shipping.

Standard Shipping is free for most countries, while Express Shipping is 15-35USD depending on your country. If your order is over 270USD, Express Shipping is free*.

*This applies for most countries. However, large items such as headphones and desktop DAC/AMPs (e.g. HarmonicDyne G200, MUSICIAN MDP-2, and etc.) are excluded.

Shipping fees exclude import taxes or processing fees that may be applicable for your country. Linsoul is not responsible for such fees. Should you refuse to pay the tax/customs fees, shipping fees will still be deducted from the amount paid for thetwo-way freightcharges. The cost of the freight charges may be more than the amount reflected on your order due to tax and other miscellaneous fees.

Some parcels claimed to be “returned to the seller” may be destroyed by the post office or customs officers when buyers refuse to accept their parcels or fail to pay for their taxes.No refundwill be processed for such cases.Standard Shipping via YunExpress is a tax-inclusive option for some countries. How long does it take to receive the order after it is placed?

For in-stock products, your order will be shipped within 3 working days. You may check with our staff regarding the in-stock status of any products.

Customized items will take a longer time. Please contact our staff for more information.

On normal non-sale days, once your parcel has been shipped out:

For Standard Shipping, it takes about 2-4 weeks for items to be delivered after shipping out. For some countries, it might take up to 2-3 months, depending on your country, its customs and other factors.* The duration for transit is something beyond our control. Linsoul will not be making refunds for such cases. Please consider an upgrade to Express Shipping or keep the waiting time in mind.
For Express Shipping, it takes about 3-7 days for items to be delivered after shipping out.

What happens if the parcel has been shipped but not delivered?

First, kindly contact your local courier using the local tracking number.
If your parcel were to be in transit for at least 3 months, it may have been lost in transit.
For orders below $50USD, you may either opt for a one-time reshipment of parcel OR a full refund of the amount paid in cash via PayPal/Credit/Debit card.

For orders above $50USD, we will only process a 50% refund of your order paid in cash via PayPal/Credit/Debit card. Should there be any concern about Standard Shipping, you are encouraged to opt for DHL Express Shipping instead.

Customers are to bear the consequences and fees incurred, if the parcel was undelivered due to any of the following situation:

Wrong address or phone number provided by recipient
Recipient was uncontactable when courier company contacted
Refusal to sign for the package by recipient
Lost or damaged parcel because recipient opted for “no-signature delivery”
Refusal to pay for the local tax/processing fee by recipient
Refusal to provide supporting documents for custom clearance by recipient

Who will pay for the import tax/custom fees

Customers have to bear any form of custom/import/processing fees that are applicable for your parcel.

Should you be unwilling to pay for the fees and reject the delivery of the parcel, you will still have to pay for the shipping cost. Linsoul will only refund the amount of your order after deducting the two-way shipping fees incurred.

How do I get help for my order?

In general, upon receiving your parcel, please confirm the contents of the package and ensure that the package is in good condition before signing for it. All customers are strongly advised to take an unboxing video of their parcel and packaging when opening their parcels and products.

Provide your order number and state the issue clearly
Attach photos and videos to show that your product is faulty/missing. Shipping details on the parcel packaging have to be clearly visible.

If the photos/videos provided are insufficient to prove the stated issue, we will enquire more. Once the issue has been confirmed, we will arrange for a replacement, partial refund or a full refund (where applicable). For incorrect products, Linsoul reserves all rights in deciding whether you need to return the incorrect item or not. Please kindly contact us via email first. Do I get tracking details for my order?

After placing an order, you will receive the order confirmation email. After your order has been shipped out, you will also receive a tracking email. You can track your order via the tracking number online. Should you not have received the emails or face any difficulties tracking your order, please kindly contact us for support.

For more than 1 orders placed under the same account and shipping address, Linsoul will automatically combine the orders and ship them out via one tracking number. Should you have special requests to have the orders shipped separately, please kindly contact us via Discord or our website's chat. We will do our best to help.

How do I cancel my order?

Cancellation or/and modification of orders can only be done manually via our staff, provided that our Warehouse Team has not processed your order. Orders that have been shipped cannot be cancelled and modified.

Where should I send the product for the return process?

When must the product be returned after receiving the RMA form and details?
