New Titanium-Coated Diaphragm Driver: The Cadenza II is equipped with an advanced titanium-coated diaphragm driver. The new titanium-coated polyethylene terephthalate (PET) diaphragm combines the strength of titanium with the flexibility of PET. Paired with a newly developed high-performance magnetic array structure, this dynamic driver delivers the highest level of performance and resolution among all dynamic drivers Kiwi Ears has ever developed.

Unparalleled Tonal Superiority: The Cadenza II has been meticulously tuned, beginning with a redesign of the KARS 2.0 technology to perfectly match the new dynamic driver, with micrometer-level adjustments to achieve precise bass tuning. The midrange has been subtly boosted to bring out the warmth and fullness of vocals, maintaining neutrality while adding a sense of liveliness. The treble extends smoothly and naturally, with a refined decay that enhances the overall balance.

Premium Construction: The Cadenza II features an upgraded shell crafted from durable polycarbonate composite—sturdier than standard resin or plastic, yet delivering a luxurious velvet-like tactile experience. Its faceplate, precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum via CNC technology, boasts intricate laser-engraved detailing that forms an exquisite, one-of-a-kind honeycomb pattern.

Detachable Cable System: The Cadenza II comes equipped with a 2-pin 0.78mm detachable cable system. Composed of single-crystal oxygen-free copper wires, the cable allows noise-free crystal clear signal transmission.

Unmatched 10mm Titanium DD with KARS 2.0 for Audiophile-Level Sound

With enhanced tonal balance, the Cadenza II delivers deep lows, vibrant mids, and detailed treble for a full-range, immersive listening experience. Its lightweight design, premium materials, and detachable cable system ensure durability, comfort, and versatile connectivity. Whether you're producing music, gaming, or simply enjoying your favorite tunes, the Cadenza II provides exceptional clarity, accuracy, and long-term listening comfort.

Unmatched Bass Precision with KARS 2.0

The Cadenza II unveils the next generation of Kiwi Acoustic Resonance System: KARS 2.0. Since its debut, significant optimizations have been made to make KARS 2.0 more efficient, better integrated into the acoustic structure, and more precisely tune the low-end. With KARS 2.0, the Cadenza II features pin-point sub-bass tuning, showcasing a powerful 8dB bass that precisely cuts off at 200Hz for a clean, true subwoofer-like lows. New to KARS 2.0, the low-midrange has also been delicately tuned, allowing a 300~400Hz bump that adheres to modern tuning preferences and providing lush uncolored warmth in the mids.

New Titanium-Coated Diaphragm Driver for Superior Detail

To maximize technicalities and sound quality, a new dynamic driver has been developed. A new titanium-coated polyethylene terephthalate diaphragm, which combines the strength of titanium with the fluidity of polyethylene terephthalate was developed. Combined with a new powerful magnetic array structure, this dynamic driver provides the highest technicalities and resolution among Kiwi Ears’ dynamic drivers so far.

Unparalleled Tonal Superiority

The goal for the Cadenza II was to present the ultimate tonal balance and technicality for all audiences. The Cadenza II was painstakingly tuned, first redesigning KARS 2.0 to match the new dynamic driver, with adjustments at the micrometer scale to perfectly tune the subbass. The midrange required a slight hump to bring out vocal warmth and lushness, which perfectly balances neutrality without being sterile. The treble peaks perfectly at 3kHz - a feat requiring us to go back and redesign the acoustic structure of the driver itself. The treble decay is smooth and extended. All of these features are achievements that have previously been never seen before in a single dynamic driver IEM. We are proud to make a premium audio experience available to all.

Premium Build Quality for Lasting Durability

To showcase its premium sound, the Cadenza II had to look and feel as elegant. The shell material has been upgraded to a durable polycarbonate composite, which is stronger than typical resin or plastic, while offering a lush velvet-like texture to the touch. The faceplate is CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and laser engraved to achieve a subtle, yet distinct honeycomb design.

Versatile 2-Pin Detachable Cable System

The Cadenza II features a flexible 2-pin 0.78mm detachable cable system composed of single-crystal oxygen-free copper wires. This allows for noise-free, crystal-clear signal transmission while offering customization options to fit your preference. Mix and match different cables for personalized sound and extend the life of your IEMs with easy replacement or upgrades.

Everything Feels Under Control

The Cadenza II follows a balanced, slightly warm tuning with a mild U-shaped sound signature. The combination of controlled bass, smooth vocals, comfortable treble, and excellent fit makes it a very easy IEM to enjoy across a wide range of genres.

The overall presentation stays well controlled and it definitely delivers a quality output one would expect on a single DD in this price category.

Cadenza II is a legitimate successor.

The Kiwi Ears Cadenza II is a seriously good budget single-DD IEM. It takes the basic idea of the first Cadenza and makes it more controlled, more modern and a little more grown-up. For 49.99 USD, this is a strong overall package. A no-brainer for the beach, the pool, travelling or daily use. Comfortable, cleanly tuned, easy to recommend and very easy to like.

Growing Up and Pricing Up

The Kiwi Ears Cadenza II is a highly versatile, all-rounder single dynamic driver IEM that delivers a successful sonic upgrade over its predecessor, trading the warm, lush vocals of the original for a clearer, more transparent midrange and a mature, mild U-shaped tuning. With its improved build quality, excellent sub-bass texture, and incredibly natural, fatigue-free timbre, it excels as a comfortable daily driver for extended listening sessions across various genres. However, while the sound and ergonomics have undeniably matured, the 25% price increase to $50 is somewhat overshadowed by a downgraded accessory package that includes fewer eartips and lacks a carrying case, slightly hindering its overall value proposition in a fiercely competitive market.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Cadenza II is my new favorite IEM under $60. It is well-balanced, cohesive, and easy to drive. Even the $10 Kiwi Ears AD1 Dongle drives it easily, delivering a true audiophile sound.

Terrible

Really disappointing. The sound is harsh and unpleasant, with almost no bass at all. On top of that, they are ridiculously loud, even at the minimum volume on my iPhone, they were still too loud for comfortable listening.

For me, the tuning is simply not enjoyable, and the volume sensitivity makes them even more frustrating to use. Definitely not what I expected.

Kiwi Ears Cadenza

The Cadenza 2s are good entry level IEM, good value for your buck. The only issues are the cable that holds memory and is tangling. Other then that, i would appriciate some kind of bag/case to put into.
