EC Play is the most compact CD player in Shanling’s lineup, weighing only 418g while maintaining a durable full aluminum construction. Its refined body design ensures a strong yet lightweight structure that is easy to carry anywhere. Physical tactile buttons provide intuitive control without the need for apps, while the built-in display allows quick access to playback and system settings directly on the device, keeping operation simple and efficient on the go.

The EC Play features Shanling’s active magnetic CD clamp system, designed to ensure highly stable disc reading under all conditions. This system significantly improves tracking accuracy and playback stability, allowing smooth performance even during movement. It supports CD, CD-R, and CD-RW formats, delivering gapless and reliable playback that maintains consistent sound quality from start to finish.
Hi-Fi Sound with Versatile Output Options
Powered by the Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC and dual SGM8262 amplifier architecture, EC Play delivers clean, dynamic, and natural sound reproduction. It features both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, making it compatible with a wide range of earphones and headphones. A dedicated 3.5mm SPDIF coaxial output also allows seamless integration into home Hi-Fi systems, expanding its usability beyond portable listening.
Multi-Function Digital Audio Player
EC Play is not limited to CD playback and supports modern digital audio functions. It features Bluetooth 6.0 receiver mode with LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs for wireless streaming from smartphones and tablets. It also supports USB DAC mode with up to 384kHz / 32-bit PCM and DSD256 playback, allowing it to function as a high-resolution external DAC for computers and mobile devices.
Long Battery Life and High Output Power
Equipped with a 3450mAh battery, EC Play delivers up to 12 hours of continuous playback, making it suitable for daily commuting and extended listening sessions.
