Lush, sumptuous and liquid comes to mind. With the right ear tips, bass is adequate. Treble can be a touch bright if the ear tip does not seal well though. Superb value for the price. Compared to the timeless, they are 9/10s as good.
Admittedly, I'm not a fan of closed back headphones. While the Blon B50's don't change my mind, they are pretty good overall. I did run into some harshness towards the higher end, my other set (Audio Technica ATH-AD700X) also have a harshness to them but not quite as bad and at a higher register. Regarding the build quality, they feel good in hand with decent heftiness to them. Comfort is subjective and for me, they're a tad tight on the clamp force. I do have a larger head (8 3/4 hat size) so that might factor in. I did test them for about 2 weeks with movie watching and listening to music, sadly, they will be a backup to the above stated Audio Technica pair and my main pair of HarmonicDyne Zeus.
They are comfortable straight out of the box.
The sound is really good and not fatiguing but is not the best in anything in particular, a really good all day listener that doesn't get tiring.
The cable is not bad doesn't get kincks but sometimes get untangled in storage and can take a small time to untangle it, and there's not mic if you want to use it with a phone but once your using it you barely fell it.
All around is very comfortable and really good IEM that doesn't shine in any particular thing sound wise but good sound overall.
This iem can easily be equal to if not better than Shure SE215. Mids and highs are excellent and if u r into Billie Elish music .. the lows are excellent. Cannot go wrong with this iem.
This are DARK headphones and sometimes can lean towards being just a little muddy at times. Also do mind that they are almost entirely metal, so they will be on the heavy side. However with the right song these can be quite immersive.
Good but the cost/performance isn't on par with each other.
I use to think that the $500 mark is the limit for diminishing returns. Since getting this, I'm starting to consider that this might stop at the $200-$250 range. I just didn't feel anything even remotely close to $500 of sound and or looks. I'm Coming from the Kato's, Dusk, and even Final audio B3...I just didn't get the sense that I experiencing anything truly different, especially with the ESt Drivers that these have. I thought this was going to change the game for me but it hasn't.
