Customers praised this bass-heavy IEM for delivering "massive, rumbling bass" with excellent texture and detail. The dual-driver design provides deep, punchy low-end while maintaining clear mids and smooth treble. Reviewers appreciated the solid metal construction and comfort, though some noted bass can bleed into mids and may require amplification for optimal performance.

Review completo no Canal Fabinho Tech

THE BUDGET BASSHEAD BEAST!

The 7hz Legato is, by far, one of the most fun IEMs that I've tried for the price. It combines a thick, booming bass akin to old boombox stereo speakers with a respectably sparkly and technical ability.

While I do have my gripes, particularly with the unecessary peak in the treble, the somewhat awkwardly large nozzle and the coloration to the midrange, this is an extremely unique set that, if you're looking for a fun experience, is highly recommended.

7Hz Legato: The Bass Bringer

The Bass Bringer

This is my first product review from 7Hz and my second encounter on dual DD IEMs after QKZ X HBB Khan. This time, 7Hz takes a different approach on tuning that separates them from their competitors. Will they be able to succeed in their endeavour?

PROS:

△ A solid, high quality aircraft-grade aluminium alloy shell chassis.
△ Good quality and quantity inclusions
△ That large, hard-bound, zippered IEM case.
△ An added extra filters is actually good gesture from 7Hz for the longevity of their sets.
△ Hard-hitting, tactile and boomy bass response that bass heads will truly appreciate.
△ Good power scaling capability.
△ Warm and sufficiently dense note weight in some parts of frequency range spectrum.
△ Smooth and non-aggressive treble response that devoid of any possible occurrences of sibilance or harshness.

CONS:

▽ Noticeable bass bleeds across frequency range that affects the overall sound quality.
▽ Recession on some part of midrange region that impacts the tonal and timbre quality of some types of female vocals and even instruments.
▽ Treble quality is a bit smooth and subdued in my liking as it quite inadequate of being crisp and sparkling.
▽ It has a mediocre technical performance.

The vocals are clear and the overall sound quality is impressive. The build quality is top-notch, with the CNC aviation-grade aluminum shells exuding durability and style. The included 7 pairs of ear tips ensure a comfortable fit for extended listening sessions. Highly recommended!

When Old Becomes New

The tuners of the Legato achieved what they set out to do. Capture that old school sound of dad's hefty speakers with those massive woofers.
They do require a high current source to sound their best and as always careful tip selection. The interesting thing is that the Legato isn't all about the bass. It really does sound good on less bassy tracks and is not a one trick pony. Bass slams with incredible authority and weight, mids are slightly recessed but have decent clarity. The treble is actually pretty good with reasonable extension adequate detail and no harshness.
All in all the 7hz Legato is something I'll keep forn those times that I want to have a little more meat on my plate.

Whoa! Its amazing

Buying these IEMs was my absolute last-ditch effort to give the whole format one final chance. Before this, I’d been using open-back Grado SRs, Koss Porta Pros, and a bunch of TWS models like the AirPods Pro, Marshall Mode EQ, Soundcore Liberty 4 NC, and OnePlus Buds 4. Every now and then, I’d try some IEMs from brands like Kiwi Ears, KBEAR, FiiO, or KZ, but every single time I was left scratching my head. I just didn't get the hype. To me, they sounded flat, boring, completely lifeless, and lacked any real bass or slam. They just couldn't make me groove or bob my head the way my bass-heavy Soundcores do.

But then, I decided to give IEMs one last shot and picked up the Legato. Wow. Just wow. I am absolutely blown away. These are the first earphones in a long time that make me confidently say: this is a whole different level of quality compared to anything I’ve owned before. This is exactly what I was looking for in an IEM.

Now, I can finally enjoy a massive, rumbling bass that is incredibly well-textured, detailed, and never gets muddy—it feels like it has room to breathe. At the same time, the highs aren't lost; they stay pretty detailed. If you're looking for clinical monitoring or sparkling, super-crisp cymbals, you might find the treble a bit relaxed. But for me, it’s the perfect sweet spot. There’s just enough treble to keep my ears from getting fatigued when listening to heavy genres like Hard Wave, Hardcore, Hardstyle, Witchcore, Witch House, Techno, Rave, and Drum and Bass, or any other bass-heavy tracks.

I finally get why IEM enthusiasts rave about details and instrument separation. And I finally understand what real, well-defined low-end sounds like! In some tracks, it literally gives me goosebumps or makes me feel slightly dizzy.

A quick disclaimer: I did tweak the sound to my liking using an EQ (making it a slightly sharper V-shape profile). I’m running them straight out of my PC without an amp, using the stock cable, and it sounds perfectly fine to me.

As for the eartips, I’m using aftermarket ones. If you struggle with the stock tips, I highly recommend trying short-nozzle TWS-style tips with a slightly wider bore and grippy silicone—brands like SpinFit make great options. With the right fit, these IEMs practically disappear in your ears. They are incredibly comfortable.

These are unreal. Solid construction. Deep bass at volume. And can hear everything in the recording.
Highly recommend these as a daily driver.

I am mainly using them for gaming on my PC however I run Spotify all day also.

A Warm Soul with Rock ‘n Roll Spirit

The 7Hz Legato isn’t just another IEM — it’s a mood. A proper throwback to that warm, analog tonality we lost somewhere chasing neutrality and micro-detail. The bass here doesn’t just thump, it breathes — textured, deep, and full of emotion. Guitars in classic rock tracks sound alive, vocals carry weight, and cymbals melt instead of slicing. It’s unapologetically tuned for musical enjoyment, not studio dissection.

Pair it with a clean source or a warm DAP (like my Sony Walkman NW-A306), and it sings. For the price, it’s a soul-stirring experience — a true “set and forget” IEM that makes you fall in love with your old favorites again.

My favorite IEM.

It's not perfect, but I don't hear the problem with the treble like others have mentioned. I can listen to Mariah Carey, Classical, or have my skull shake with rocket launcher blasts while playing classic Unreal Tournament. I own an S12, Cadenza, Kefine Delci and Klear, and some JBL jogging buds, and this stays as queen of the castle. Try watching the Trex scene with these vs others. The difference is palpable.

Great Bass!

Being a treble head I really loved the bass on these ones! it kicks hard, pumping air in your ears, and does not overshadow the details much. I love it. Coming from Letshuoer Z12, S12 Pro, Geek Wold gk100 and Simgot ea1000.

Great IEM's with just a bit too much low end

I love a more bassy sound. So after trying out most cheaper options, I bought the Legato... and I basically love them. However...
They have about 3dB too much bass to be usable on all music; an issue I mostly fixed with a pair of TANGZU Tang Sancai eartips which lower the bass response a bit. Also keep in mind these IEM's aren't all that loud on a smartphone without an external amp. I use them on an external soundcard, so not an issue for me. The response can be mostly described as smooth, oldschool bassy sound, with smooth highs and a big low end. Perfect for EDM/dance music, but also great for gaming.
So all in all, I'm liking these a lot, but an additional 1-2dB of highs and -3dB of lows would make them perfect. Still, a good buy.

Finally we got Bass in our in-ear monitors !!!

After testing *a lot* of different in-ear monitors, we finally found a very good product to be able to have a lot of bass in the ears :-) without spending several hundreds of dollars.
Regards from Switzerland and thanks for the 7HZ Legato, a very good product with the best value for money for bass in-ear monitors.

Bass heavy, warm but musical

I liked it from the beginning.
It has a warm, relaxed tuning.
Somewhat bleeding into the mids but I don't mind it when listening to double bass in jazz music. It sound very good then. I like the comfort, the accessories and the quality of the shells which are made of metal.

It's a very good set of you at looking for lots of warm cosy bass with no listening fatigue. But keep in mind, you will be disappointed if you are looking for an airy and very resolving set.

Headstage is quite expansive for this type of tuning. I was surprised by how 7Hz achieved this. The only thing I do miss is a touch of brilliance and Ir in the upper mids/treble. Otherwise it's a lovely set. Highly recommended.

Huge Bass - Good Fun

A Niche IEM for your collection. Lots of fun but not for critical listening. Could have had a bit more in the upper middle and treble region but if you love Bass, you'll enjoy it..
