Gustard R26II
Native 1-Bit DSD for Pure Audio
The GUSTARD R26II features a native 1-Bit DSD DAC, supporting up to DSD2048 through the I2S interface. This allows for an astonishing 32x the resolution of standard SACD (DSD64), delivering extraordinary dynamic range, clarity, and detail. By bypassing any internal PCM transcoding or DSP manipulation, it ensures a "pure" signal path that preserves the full depth and atmosphere of the original recording. Whether you're listening to high-resolution files or classic recordings, the R26II reproduces music with unmatched realism and depth.
Advanced R-2R Ladder Design
At the heart of the R26II lies a fully discrete R-2R resistor ladder network, a "purist" approach to digital-to-analog conversion. Unlike Delta-Sigma DACs, which rely on high-frequency modulation and noise-shaping, R-2R performs a direct and instantaneous conversion of digital signals to analog, delivering a cleaner, more natural sound. This design eliminates digital artifacts, ensuring a highly accurate and organic audio experience. The result is a sound signature that is rich, smooth, and distinctly analog.
GCLK-02 clock module
GUSTARD R26II is equipped with high-precision GUSTARD Femto Clock Technology. The GCLK-02 clock module uses advanced PLL technology to achieve locking accuracy within 1Hz, providing ultra-high precision. By adjusting the output frequency via a precise feedback mechanism, it ensures superior stability and accuracy in both the frequency and phase of the clock signal.
Dual Toroidal Transformers for Clean Power
The R26II features dual independent toroidal transformers, providing dedicated power to both the digital and analog sections of the DAC. These high-quality transformers isolate the D/A conversion process from harmful electromagnetic interference and cross-talk, ensuring a clean and stable power supply.
