Professional Audio CD Performance with Advanced Servo Architecture
The DISCDREAM series integrates a professional CD servo architecture, vital for any portable hi-fi CD player. Its motor drive uses selected imported audio driver chips to ensure stable, uniform speed, while the professional CD laser head guarantees excellent disc reading performance. The double shock absorption system combines an electronic data buffer with an elastic-damping physical buffer, further minimizing the effects of vibration on CD playback.

The DISCDREAM 2 Ultra uses dual Cirrus Logic flagship 32-bit Master Hi-Fi audio decoding chips to produce fully balanced four-channel high-quality analog signals. Its independent, fully balanced hi-fi amplifier circuit delivers ample, low-distortion power for the 4.4 mm interface, ensuring optimal earphone performance. With seven linear voltage stabilizing chips supplying power independently, the device delivers hardware-level performance. While honoring classic designs, the DISCDREAM 2 Ultra incorporates modern technology for superior sound quality.
Hi-Fi Audio-Grade Materials for Enhanced Sound Quality
The DISCDREAM 2 Ultra incorporates a full set of Ruby automotive-grade aluminum electrolytic capacitors and 3 NDK audio-level crystal oscillators for precise clock control. Tuned by experienced audio engineers, it aims to deliver a warm, delicate, and clean sound.
4.4mm Fully Balanced, Ultra-Low Distortion Headphone Output
The DISCDREAM 2 Ultra offers two headphone output interfaces. The 4.4mm interface provides a fully balanced output commonly found in modern Hi-Fi players, delivering 4Vrms/222mW undistorted output power under a 32Ω load. This ensures it can easily drive most in-ear headphones, earbuds, and even some high-impedance full-size and planar headphones. The 3.5mm interface offers standard stereo output with a 2Vrms output, suitable for driving most in-ear headphones and earbuds.*Note: Undistorted output power is measured according to clause 6.4 of the AES17 standard, with the maximum output determined by 1% THD+N or 0, prior to 3dB compression, ensuring the most accurate and effective power for users.
Versatile 3.5mm Multi-Function Interface
The DISCDREAM 2 Ultra also features a 3.5mm multifunctional interface that supports both digital optical and analog linear outputs. This allows users to connect the player to active speakers or external amplifiers, making it an all-around digital turntable. The analog linear output can connect directly to an amplifier or active speaker for added flexibility, while the digital optical output offers compatibility with DAC/AMP speaker systems or other devices, enhancing its versatility.
More Than Just a Portable CD Player — A USB Desktop Sound Card
The DISCDREAM 2 Ultra functions not only as a portable hi-fi CD player but also as a USB desktop sound card. It supports PCM decoding up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256 when used in sound card mode. With plug-and-play compatibility for both Windows and Mac OS, no drivers are needed for easy setup.
