A robust CD servo architecture plays a key role in delivering high-quality audio for portable hi-fi CD players, and the DISCDREAM series has been designed with this in mind:
Motor Drive: Featuring carefully selected imported audio driver chips to ensure stable and consistent speed for smooth playback.
Optical Assembly: Incorporates a professional-grade CD laser head, offering reliable and precise disc reading performance.
Double Shock Absorption: A combination of an electronic data buffer and an elastic-damping physical buffer helps reduce the impact of vibrations, ensuring uninterrupted CD playback.

DISCDREAM 2 integrates Cirrus Logic's flagship 32-bit Master Hi-Fi audio decoding chip to output pure, high-quality analog signals. Its independent hi-fi dual-channel amplifier circuit provides ample power for the 3.5mm standard headphone port, ensuring a rich audio experience. With six linear voltage stabilizing chips supplying power independently, the hardware performs with precision and stability.
3.5mm Stereo Headphone Output
DISCDREAM 2 is equipped with a 3.5mm stereo headphone output, delivering 2Vrms/124mW of undistorted output power when connected to a 32Ω load, ensuring ultra-low distortion, large thrust, and hi-fi sound quality. This design allows it to effortlessly drive most in-ear headphones, earbuds, and full-size headphones with lower power requirements, offering users an exceptional audio experience.Note: The undistorted output power is measured in accordance with clause 6.4 of the AES17 standard. The maximum output, prior to 3dB compression, at 1% THD+N or 0, represents the maximum undistorted output power, whichever is reached first. This distinction highlights the genuinely effective output power for users, differentiating it from maximum output power.
Versatile 3.5mm Multifunctional Interface
In addition to its powerful single-ended headphone output, DISCDREAM 2 is equipped with a 3.5mm multifunctional interface that supports both digital optical and analog linear outputs. This versatile interface allows users to connect active speakers or external amplifiers for driving harder-to-power headphones through the analog output. The digital optical output provides additional flexibility, enabling connections to DAC/AMPs, speaker systems, and other devices, making DISCDREAM 2 a comprehensive digital turntable player.
